If Hazleton Area wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Williamsport, they should've done a better job of containing Giovanni White. The Millionaires put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 28-7 win on Friday for which the team can thank White, who rushed for 201 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

Williamsport didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lucas Naughton and Brayden Ungard.

Williamsport has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points this season. As for Hazleton Area, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Williamsport wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-0 win against Central Mountain on the 5th. As for Hazleton Area, they have also already played their next match, a 40-0 victory against West Scranton on the 5th.
