West Side pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to Malad. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), West Side still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Soda Springs strolled past Aberdeen with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 51-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Soda Springs.
West Side has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Soda Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
West Side came up short against Soda Springs in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-44. Can West Side avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
