The Jackson-Olin Mustangs will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Brookwood Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on January 15th.
Jackson-Olin suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Minor, falling 60-30. Jackson-Olin has struggled against Minor recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Brookwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Bessemer City on Tuesday, taking the game 37-25. The win was just what Brookwood needed coming off of a 52-30 defeat in their prior match.
Jackson-Olin bumped their record down to 9-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Brookwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
