The Jupiter Christian Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Miami Christian Victors at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Jupiter Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Highlands Christian an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Eagles have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
James Rheinecker looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami Christian). They put the hurt on Atlantic Christian with a sharp 15-0 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Marco Carriere was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ray Yero, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Miami Christian pushed their record up to 11-15 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jupiter Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.
Jupiter Christian suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to Miami Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
