The Braham Bombers pushed their score all the way to 64 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Cromwell on the road by a decisive 78-64 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (57), Braham still had to take the loss.
Brady Dahl was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-12 from long range and dropping a double-double on 35 points and 11 rebounds for Cromwell. The contest was Dahl's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Nyberg, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Braham and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Cromwell, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braham will challenge Staples-Motley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Cromwell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cook County at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. Cook County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Cromwell is ranked 68th).
