The Gateway Charter Griffins lost to the Community School of Naples Seahawks back in February of 2022, but the Gateway Charter Griffins didn't allow the Community School of Naples Seahawks the same satisfaction on Friday. Gateway Charter claimed a resounding 49-19 win over Community School of Naples on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Gateway Charter.
Gateway Charter found their leader in underclassman Katelyn Rosario, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alisea Doan, who scored 12 points.
Gateway Charter's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Community School of Naples, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gateway Charter will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for Community School of Naples, they will challenge Seacrest Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
