MCLEAN, Va. - After four lead changes,
Jackson (Manassas, Va.) took the lead for good when
Greg Stroman ran for a touchdown with 2:00 remaining in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Langley (McLean, Va.) 51-48 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Saxons went into halftime with a 28-19 lead. The Raiders took the lead to win the game on a Stroman touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring nine points in the third, Jackson still trailed by seven points going into the fourth quarter. But 24 points in the fourth helped JHS pull out the victory.
The Manassas school was able to dig itself out of a 15-point hole en route to the defeat of Langley.
