Crowley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaysia Arvie, who scored ten points along with two steals. That was a full 58.8% of Crowley's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Crowley has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Abbeville, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Erath the next time they take the court. Abbeville will host Erath at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Crowley will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
