Softball Recap: Enterprise Finds Playoff Glory Versus Dothan

Enterprise had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Dothan Wolves on Saturday. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Enterprise's fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Dothan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-20-1 record this season.

Enterprise didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Carver Montgomery on the 26th. Dothan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
