The Christian Academy and King's Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Valley Forge Military Academy scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, The Christian Academy still came out on top. The Christian Academy managed a 65-60 victory over the Trojans.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, King's Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Eustace Prep. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points King's Christian has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jason Brice, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Owen Atkins, who scored eight points.
The Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for King's Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
The Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind the in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 48-34. Thankfully for The Christian Academy, Isaiah Andruzzi (who scored 25 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
