The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Yazoo County in their matchups with Canton: they've now lost six in a row.
Crystal Springs' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Yazoo County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Crystal Springs was able to grind out a solid victory over Yazoo County when the teams last played back in January of 2021, winning 38-26.
