Summit has gone a perfect 3-0 against Kent Place recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hilltoppers will host the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Summit will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Summit had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Oak Knoll on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Royals. The Hilltoppers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

Charlotte Yarnall was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caroline Putnam, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles.
Summit was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Knoll only posted a batting average of .231.
Meanwhile, Kent Place didn't have quite enough to beat Lawrenceville School on Monday and fell 5-4.
Quinn Sartorius was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Hardy, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Summit's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Kent Place, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Kent Place's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Summit hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Kent Place, though, as they've only averaged .226. Will they be able to contain Summit's hitters?
