The Lutheran North Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Corunna Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lutheran North is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lutheran North had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged Marine City out 32-30.
Meanwhile, Corunna put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 28-17 win over Notre Dame Prep.
Corunna's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Edington, who rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns. Tarick Bower also helped out with an impressive 131 receiving yards.
Lutheran North is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Corunna, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.
