Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Riley County

Riley County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Nemaha Central Thunder by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

While Riley County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.

Riley County's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Nemaha Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Riley County and Nemaha Central will both be playing Hiawatha the next time they take the court. The Thunder will host the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
