While Auburn's  victory against Smiths Station wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Panthers  4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Mary Alderson Grace looked comfortable as she  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Alivia Harris was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Daley Alsobrook, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
Auburn's win bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Smiths Station,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-20-1.
 Coming up, Auburn will face off against Beauregard at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Smiths Station, they will take on Valley in a tournament  on Saturday.
