Sacred Heart has enjoyed the comforts of home their last seven games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacred Heart has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matches.
Last Friday, Sacred Heart didn't have too much trouble with Scranton at home as they won 58-40.
Meanwhile, Arkansas School for the Deaf's four-game losing streak came to an end on Sunday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-23 victory over Marie Philip. The victory was all the more spectacular given Arkansas School for the Deaf's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 390th in Arkansas, while Marie Philip is ranked 16th in Massachusetts).
Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Arkansas School for the Deaf, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart against Arkansas School for the Deaf when the teams last played on Tuesday as the team secured a 76-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sacred Heart since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
