Milan came tearing into  Tuesday's  game with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. The stars were shining brightly for them in  a  53-36 victory over the Brashear Tigers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
 Leading Milan to victory were  Amy Pickering and  Marian Dabney.  Pickering  went 9 of 16  on her way to 19 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals, while  Dabney  went 10 for 19  en route to 26  points. Pickering continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emerson Pauley, who  posted  no  points in addition to nine  assists and three  steals.
Milan's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Brashear,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-4.
 A feisty cat fight will be fought when  the Milan Wildcats  take on   the Polo Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Brashear, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Atlanta  at 6:00  p.m.
