After three games on the road, San Luis is heading back home. They will take on the Washington Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, San Luis was able to grind out a solid victory over Goldwater, taking the game 33-26.
San Luis can attribute much of their success to Fernanda Aranda, who scored 10 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Aranda has scored at least 25% of San Luis' points. Another player making a difference was Regina Meza, who scored 6 points.
Meanwhile, Washington made easy work of Central on Wednesday and carried off a 68-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Washington.
The losses dropped San Luis to 1-2 and Goldwater to 0-3.
