Midwest Central's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Davis, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Marquardt, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Midwest Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Grace Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Midwest Central will be playing in front of their home fans against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Momence at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Momence is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
