Rawlins' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Allard, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Christopher Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Rawlins' loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-7. As for Douglas, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rawlins will take on Torrington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Torrington is ranked 49th, while Rawlins is ranked 32nd). As for Douglas, they will be playing at home against Wheatland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
