Roosevelt took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Benson Tech 62-0. Roosevelt was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Roosevelt a 1-0 record and starting Benson Tech off at 0-1.
Roosevelt are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Centennial next week at 7:00 PM. As for Benson Tech, they will face off against Parkrose.
