Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgetown Visitation Prep). They really took it to the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves for the full four quarters, racking up an 88-28 win. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Georgetown Visitation Prep's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Fitzgerald, who went 5 for 10 to rack up 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Kabatt, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and six boards.

Georgetown Visitation Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nina Velandria, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 13 points. Velandria continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Maggie Dake also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Georgetown Visitation Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9.
