Make it four blowout wins for the Riverside Chargers this season. They breezed by Heartland Lutheran at home to the tune of 71-33. With Riverside ahead 41-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Leading Riverside to victory were Jack Molt and Drew Carraher. Molt scored 15 points, while Carraher scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Schalk, who scored ten points.
Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Heartland Lutheran, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will face off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Heartland Lutheran, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
