There's no place like home for North Posey, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Tell City Marksmen with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 38-21. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Marksmen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

North Posey got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bret Buecher out in front who rushed for 187 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Dylan Murphy was in the mix as well, providing the Vikings with three scores.

North Posey's record is now 3-1. As for Tell City, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, North Posey is taking a road trip to challenge Pike Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tell City, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hancock County at 7:00 p.m.
