Steele wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Grace Balzarini, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. Those two runs gave Balzarini a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Elmwood Park came up short against West Aurora on Thursday and fell 8-5.
