This was payback for Trinity Christian Academy, who suffered a 49-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Lekhy Thompkins, who rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown.
Jackson Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Jay'len Mosley, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. Mosley was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 61 yards. Easton Jones was another key contributor, picking up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Trinity Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points per game. As for Jackson Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1.

As for Jackson Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Ezell-Harding Christian. Ezell-Harding Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
