The Oakbrook Prep Knights will take on the Spartanburg Day Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Oakbrook Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Last Friday, Oakbrook Prep got the win against Northside Christian Academy by a conclusive 60-39.
It was another big night for Chris Wilkins, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelton Smith, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Spartanburg Day, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-37 loss to Greenwood Christian on Friday.
Oakbrook Prep pushed their record up to 18-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Spartanburg Day, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Oakbrook Prep skirted past Spartanburg Day 29-27 in their previous meeting last Friday. Does Oakbrook Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spartanburg Day turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
