The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Winslow Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy beat Palo Verde 58-53.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Hoke, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Issac Hardeman, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Holbrook scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Winslow still came out on top. Winslow took their contest against Holbrook 73-62. The victory was nothing new for Winslow as they're now sitting on three straight.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Winslow, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Winslow in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 68-58. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Winslow's Blaine Begay, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 3 assists.
