Manchester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laziya Moody, who scored 15 points. Moody is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhazarea Battle, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Webster County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Manchester won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Taylor County will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Webster County will take on Chattahoochee County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chattahoochee County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.8 points per game.
