After flying high against the Jubilee Lions last Friday, The NYOS Charter Jaguars came back down to earth. NYOS Charter ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-24 walloping at the hands of Tribe W on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for NYOS Charter in their matchups with Tribe W: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, NYOS Charter still got an impressive performance from Lucas Harman, who rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Joshua Mcalister continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tribe W, rushing for 291 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 60 receiving yards. Mcalister's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Luke Lock, who threw for 77 yards and a touchdown.
NYOS Charter now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Tribe W, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
NYOS Charter will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Valor South Austin at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Tribe W, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victoria Cobra HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
