After flying high against Johnson County  last Tuesday, Unaka came back down to earth. The Unaka Rangers took  a  50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unicoi County Blue Devils on Wednesday. The loss was the Rangers' first of the season.
 Despite the loss, Unaka still got an impressive performance from   Lauren Lund, who  had eight points along with two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keyona Hague, who  had five points plus eight  rebounds.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Unaka  fell to 3-1. As for Unicoi County,  the  win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Unaka and Tennessee are set to duel  on Friday. As for Unicoi County, they will square off against Happy Valley at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. Unicoi County is facing Happy Valley at the right time seeing as Happy Valley is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
