The Live Oak Eagles's three-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They walked away with a 70-62 victory over Lakeshore. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Lakeshore still got an impressive performance from Caiden Bickham, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Bickham hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Vial, who scored nine points along with five assists and two steals.
Live Oak's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Lakeshore, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
Live Oak won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Denham Springs at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Denham Springs will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak alive. Lakeshore will take on Franklinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklinton is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
