The Central Indians can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Campbell County with a sharp 68-42 win. Given Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while Campbell County is ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Camels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylan Robertson, who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Williams, who scored eight points.
Central's win bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Campbell County, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Central will take on South at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is facing South at the right time seeing as South is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Campbell County, they will head out on the road to challenge Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Campbell County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
