After two weeks on the road, Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry is heading back home. On Friday they take on PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 PM. Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry took a serious blow against Athens last Friday, falling 0-49. Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 54 points the game before, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central faltered in their game last Friday. They were given a punishing 0-41 loss at the hands of Maroa-Forsyth. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central were down by 0-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
