Wayne has gone a perfect 3-0 against Tintic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Badgers will welcome the Miners at 2:30 p.m. Wayne will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
On Thursday, Wayne strolled past Panguitch with points to spare, taking the game 52-37.

AJ VanDyke had another great game (as she tends to do), almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Morrill, who posted six points and four steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tintic). They really took it to Rowland Hall for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-22 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Miners have posted against the Winged Lions since December 1, 2015.
Tintic's win came from a few key players Wayne will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Analeigh Despain, who had nine points and seven steals. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kendall Snell, who earned eight points and five rebounds.
Wayne's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Tintic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Keep an eye on the arc in Saturday's game: Wayne has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 36.1% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Tintic, though, as they've only made 18.2% of their three-pointers this season. Given Wayne's sizable advantage in that area, the Miners will need to find a way to close that gap.
Everything came up roses for Wayne against Tintic in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as the squad secured a 54-27 victory. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
