On Friday, Decatur faced Augusta in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything came up roses for Augusta against Decatur as the squad secured a 64-12 win. Augusta were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Next week Augusta take on Hermitage at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Decatur, they will face off against Episcopal. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
