Dorian Hoze's Big Game Leads Murrieta Valley over Chaparral
Starting off the list is Murrieta Valley's Dorian Hoze, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hoze rushed for 227 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Unfortunately for Chaparral, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hoze. Hoze rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Pumas duked it out back in October of 2023.

Longstreet Posts Huge Game in 63-0 Victory
Husan Longstreet was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to five on Thursday. Vista Murrieta had no answer to Longstreet as he threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown. Longstreet is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Vista Murrieta, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Longstreet. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Longstreet saw the Broncos), he threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes.

Jeremiah Watson Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Murrieta Valley got the W thanks in part to Jeremiah Watson playing the best football he has all season. Watson rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Watson has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 60 rushing yards per game.

Joseph Stoffel Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Norco got the W thanks in part to Joseph Stoffel playing the best football he has all season. Stoffel rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Stoffel has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 131.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to two.

Norco Gets a Boost from Schneider in 49-7 Victory
Another Norco player making an appearance on this list is Trevor Schneider. He rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Roosevelt, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Schneider. When Schneider last faced the Mustangs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown.
