After four games on the road, Nardin Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Niagara Falls Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Nardin Academy struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Thursday (Nichols was 21% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Nardin Academy fell 59-47 to Nichols. Nardin Academy has not had much luck with Nichols recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Nardin Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Lily Saleh, who scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that Saleh scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Braun, who scored a point along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Niagara Falls ended up a good deal behind Kenmore West back in December of 2023 and lost 51-34.
Nardin Academy's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-6. As for Niagara Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Nardin Academy took their victory against Niagara Falls when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 58-33. Will Nardin Academy repeat their success, or does Niagara Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
