The Penfield Patriots will head out to  take on the Brighton Bruins  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Friday, Penfield needed a bit of extra time to put away Greece Athena. They skirted past the Trojans  7-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Patriots.

 Ryan Rebmann tossed a big game,   tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April.
 On the hitting side,  Matt Scibienski was  incredible,  going 2-for-5 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Gabe Reyes, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs.
 Brighton came out on top against Penfield  last Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Bruins took their   contest against the Patriots   10-5. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Brighton's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Penfield, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.
 Penfield couldn't quite get it done against Brighton in their previous matchup  last Friday as they fell  10-5. Can the Patriots avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
