Randle is 3-0 against the Buffalos since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Randle Lions will look to defend their home court against the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos at 7:00 p.m. Randle will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
Randle put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 73-29 victory over Lamar Consolidated on the road. Given Randle's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Mustangs are ranked 1130th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Alaysia Cook was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Cook is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ifemena Nwora was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fort Bend Marshall didn't have too much trouble with the Rangers at home on Tuesday as they won 55-37.
Randle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. As for Fort Bend Marshall, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-15.
Everything came up roses for Randle against the Buffalos in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 64-36 win. Does Randle have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffalos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
