The Park Crossing Thunderbirds had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 53-46 victory over Lanier. This was payback for Park Crossing, who suffered a 55-51 loss the last time these two teams met.
Park Crossing's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Scott, who scored 17 points along with six steals. Scott hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Caden Anderson-teal was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Park Crossing is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Lanier, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-13.
Park Crossing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lanier will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
