Reidsville is 0-7 against T.W. Andrews since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Reidsville Rams will head out on the road to challenge the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Reidsville earned a 48-39 win over Morehead. The win was just what Reidsville needed coming off of a 59-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, T.W. Andrews came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Walkertown and snuck past 2-0. Given T.W. Andrews' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Walkertown is ranked 601st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Reidsville's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
Reidsville was dealt a bruising 70-32 loss at the hands of T.W. Andrews in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Reidsville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
