The Winston Red Birds's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Stanberry Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. Stanberry took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Winston, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Winston earned a 52-42 victory over Tri-County. The victory was just what Winston needed coming off of a 71-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Stanberry had to suffer through a rough 57-19 loss at the hands of Rock Port. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stanberry has scored all season.
Winston's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Stanberry, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16.
Winston came up short against Stanberry in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, falling 52-43. Can Winston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
