Damien came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Los Osos Grizzlies 69-42. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Damien's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Los Osos, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Damien and Crean Lutheran will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Crean Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Los Osos, they will take on Chino Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
