Football Recap: Jupiter Starts Season with Victory Against Dwyer

Jupiter gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dwyer Panthers as they made off with a 28-7 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jayden Roberts was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 75 receiving yards and one score. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making one tackle. Another player making a difference was Andrew Embick, who threw for 195 yards and three TDs.

Another reason for the win was Jupiter's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Max Doster was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Coming up, Jupiter will venture away from home to square off against Park Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dwyer, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
