The Colonial Grenadiers waltzed into their matchup Saturday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They came out on top against Manasquan by a score of 52-43. The score was all tied up 24-24 at the break, but Colonial was the better team in the second half.
Colonial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jasmine Bocca led the charge by scoring 14 points. The matchup was Bocca's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Carmen Richardson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists.
Colonial's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Manasquan, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
