The McCann Tech Hornets will challenge the Mount Everett Regional Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
McCann Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Mahar Regional 15-1 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Hornets with their most commanding win of the season.

Zach Howland was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Howland was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Brody Smith and Lukas Rylander did most of the damage at the plate: Smith went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double, while Rylander got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Rylander a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Turner, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
McCann Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Franklin County Tech typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Mount Everett Regional proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Franklin County Tech. Mount Everett Regional might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.
Matt Lowe made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Mount Everett Regional is undefeated when Lowe allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Lowe was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Jacob Kreis was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Trevor Leonard, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI.
McCann Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Mount Everett Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
