The Lapel Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Monroe Central Golden Bears, and things went their way on Friday too. Lapel put the hurt on Monroe Central with a sharp 57-32 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lapel.
Brode B judge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nick Witte, who scored five points.
Lapel's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Monroe Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lapel will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Mississinewa at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Mississinewa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Monroe Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Hagerstown at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hagerstown is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
