Gloucester Catholic has gone 7-1 against Kingsway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Gloucester Catholic will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kingsway will be up against a hot Gloucester Catholic squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. Everything went Gloucester Catholic's way against Washington Township on Monday as Gloucester Catholic made off with a 6-0 win.

Sal Marziani was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Noah Danza was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Guy Lynam was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Gloucester Catholic hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washington Township struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Kingsway posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Gloucester County Tech. The Dragons haven't had any issues with Gloucester County Tech recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Killian McCaffrey looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brayden Thorp, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Christian Fanelli, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Gloucester Catholic pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kingsway, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.
Gloucester Catholic skirted past Kingsway 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gloucester Catholic since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
