St. Benedict's Prep posted their closest victory since April 3, 2025 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Bayonne Bees. The victory was nothing new for the Gray Bees as they're now sitting on three straight.

St. Benedict's Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Bayonne, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Looking ahead, St. Benedict's Prep will host West Essex on Wednesday. As for Bayonne, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 28-0 victory against Dickinson on the 4th.
